Help Malek Receive Urgent Heart Treatment

Help our family in Gaza protect our children and give Malek the chance to receive the medical treatment he urgently needs.My name is Ibrahim, and I am the father of four children: Baraa, Mira, Malek and Qasim.Our family is currently living in Gaza under extremely difficult humanitarian conditions. The war has changed every aspect of our lives. Today, we are struggling not only to provide our children with basic necessities and safety, but also to protect the life of our son Malek.Malek needs urgent medical careMalek is 9 years old and suffers from a serious congenital heart condition.His medical situation requires specialized treatment that is not currently available to him in Gaza.We have received approval for Malek’s medical evacuation through the World Health Organization (WHO) so that he can receive treatment outside Gaza.But approval for medical evacuation alone is not enough.For the evacuation to move forward, we urgently need a country willing to receive Malek and our family while he undergoes treatment.Because of his age and medical condition, Malek needs his family beside him throughout this journey to provide continuous physical and emotional support.Our life in GazaThe continuing war, displacement and humanitarian crisis have made everyday life extremely difficult.Our children are growing up surrounded by uncertainty, while Malek is facing a medical condition that cannot wait.We are sharing photographs of our current circumstances as well as Malek’s medical documentation so that those who wish to help can understand our situation.How your donation will helpThe funds raised through this campaign will help our family with the urgent needs associated with Malek’s medical situation and our family’s survival and displacement, including basic necessities, transportation and expenses connected with reaching safety and accessing his treatment.Our greatest hope is simple: to bring Malek somewhere safe where he can receive the medical care he needs and give all four of our children the possibility of a safer future.Every donation, regardless of the amount, brings us closer to that possibility.If you cannot donate, sharing Malek’s story can also make an enormous difference.Thank you for reading our story, for sharing it, and for standing with our family during this incredibly difficult time.With gratitude and hope,
